Supporting Caregivers in the Workplace

Approximately 1 in 3 Americans identify as a caregiver, providing care for a child, older adult, or family member with an illness or disability. While caregiving can be rewarding in a multitude of ways, it can also put significant strains on the caregiver’s mental health, work and social life. KGA, an Employee Assistance Program serving over 350 organizations nationally, has unique insight into the emotional and practical needs of caregivers. In this webinar, Kristin Matthews, LICSW, CEAP, Chief Clinical Officer at KGA, will share KGA’s data on caregivers’ mental health and the direct support they are seeking. Participants will have the opportunity to share the challenges their caregiving employees face and the best practices employers can consider to best serve the needs of their caregiving population.
