Two Truths and a Lawsuit

Annual Employment Law Review and Update

with Attorney Jim Reidy

Americans spend a great deal of time at work and focused on work even when they work remotely. The workplace can be a wonderful place where co-workers interact and build community in a creative and collaborative environment. It can also be a place of dysfunction where information gets distorted, communication is ineffective and policies, as well as laws and regulations, are misapplied resulting in hurt feelings, attrition and claims. In short, with the number of state and federal laws out there that regulate the workplace there can be a great deal of confusion. That is amplified when HR professionals are under pressure to handle difficult and sensitive employee matters. Clarity and certainty are valued commodities in these situations. If you agree, this legal update and interactive presentation is for you.

Back again by popular demand is Attorney Jim Reidy to walk us through the latest developments in labor and employment law and to help steer us away from common and unforeseen pitfalls in our daily lives as HR professionals.

Ever play the game “Two Truths and a Lie”? Well, unlike that game that can review intimate and personal information this presentation is not so invasive. This presentation will test off your knowledge, application of the law to scenarios, common sense and risk tolerance as we review state and federal workplace laws, recent court decisions and strange but true workplace situations. Jim promises to bring prizes for those who participate in the program.

This program promises to educate and entertain. See you there!
