Join us for a conversation with New Hampshire's leaders of business and industry to gain a deeper understanding about the workforce challenges and opportunities that are unique to the Greater Manchester Area!  This interactive seminar will highlight synergistic strategies to solve our long- and short-term workforce goals at the state and local levels.  Our stronger communities are a critical component in creating a resilient workforce for Greater Manchester and our state.  This panel features a dynamic lineup of experts including:

  • Brian Gottlob, Director, Economic and Labor Market Information Bureau, NHES
  • Heather McGrail, President & CEO, Greater Manchester Chamber
  • Jodie Nazaka, Economic Development Director, City of Manchester
  • Edward "EJ" PontoCFO/VP of Administration, Geophysical Survey Systems
  • Will Stewart, Executive Director, StayWorkPlay NH / Alderman, City of Manchester

Here are a few things you can expect to learn in this data-driven, interactive discussion:

  • Explore current employment trends and forecasts with the state’s leading economist.  Who is coming to our state?  Who is leaving our state?  Where do they live?  (You will get to see firsthand where those pesky Bureau of Labor and Statistics  Surveys end up!)
  • Learn how New Hampshire is marketing itself as one of the best places to “Stay, Work and Play” and the challenges and opportunities with that.  What does that mean for you as an employer?
  • Hear firsthand how our local governments are addressing the critical need for workforce housing, curating communities where people want to live, and building a 21st century infrastructure to draw talent to our area.

Thoughts to consider:  What role do you as a business leader play in this?  How does this impact your recruiting and retention strategy?  What questions do you have?  Do you want to get involved?  Come join the conversation and find out!
